Job Description

Rome Rock looks for an experienced mobile developer iOS/Android, to create from scratch beautifully designed consumer apps, solving programming and logic. Our team is integrated by smart, talented, passionate people who seek the highest quality experiences.

About You

  • Deep understanding of source control systems and the willingness to learn (SVN, Git, etc.), including branching and merging strategies
  • Good knowledge of the publishing tools offered by Apple and Android (e.g. iTunes Connect, Apple Developer Program, Google Play Developer, etc.) and Beta distribution systems (e.g. TestFlight, Appertain, etc.
  • You are an expert in programming clean, easy to use mobile applications and interfaces focusing on user experience and usability
  • You have experience with rapid prototyping, Invision, UXPin, and other associated software/tools
  • You have advanced English writing and communicating skills — Collaboration with the team in regular meetings is a must
  • You care deeply about the user experience
  • You have a strong product sense and understanding
  • You research new trends in mobile design, interaction design and technology
  • You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • You like to learn new things, mentor and share knowledge with team members
  • Portfolio of projects: Games, Apps.

Responsibilities

  • Program and maintain all new products throughout the entire life cycle of the application. You may need to manage a small team of programmers.
  • Document code.
  • Program new features as modules, to use in all future products.
  • Keep Software version control with git.
  • Design and deliver new features, user interactions, test new concepts and build engaging prototypes by using the latest  technologies.
  • Collaborate with programmers and product managers to bring product ideas to life
  • Actively improving/learning upon existing technologies, features, and Mobile OS’s
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Programming or Computer Sciences. Self-taught programmer guru are also considered with enough experience.

Experience

3+ years relevant industry experience.
In-depth working experience with mobile app design & development.
